This website takes a few weeks to approve card designs, but check it out every once in a while. We took photos from all across the US and am turning them into greeting cards for you and everyone you know!

    Job Hunting

Looking for a job sucks and craigslist is the worst. Every job that I have responded to, off of craigslist, has been bullshit. Every one. At first I didn’t want to just rule it out. Craigslist, Careerbuilder.com, and Monster.com. That was my big 3. I haven’t had any luck with any of them actually, but with Craigslist get fake responses back.

Then I had an idea. I could see if I could run for office! I found this site www.runforoffice.org It looks like a joke but I am going to try it out and see if it tells me I should be president. Especially the way things are going seem a lot like in the movie Idiocracy.

So that website isn’t really helpful, it just shows you everything that you can possibly run for then tells you to look at the state page for more details. I’m so glad I gave them my e-mail address to run that search, now I’m going to get more junk mail.

Looks like I’ll try my luck again on craigslist.

Pot Kills Cancer and Our Government Has Known for 36 Years

Who would have thought that the US government would do something like this?! Plus why would you want to put a whole bunch of processed chemicals in your body when you can extract it from a plant! I should have gone to school to be an herbalist instead of wasting a “Music Business/Management” degree.

    Now What?

“So much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.” -Willy Wonka

Thats one of my favorite quotes from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. The good one with Gene Wilder which is easily one of the best movies in my opinion. That quote always seems applicable. There is so much that it seems like I have to get done and in reality I have nothing that I HAVE to do. I have been trying to make lists and then cross things off that I already did, just to cross something off. There are only a handful of things that I need to work on everyday and here’s the list

    1) Trying to take care of wedding stuff.
    2) Find a job.
    3) And do things that would better me.

How Willy Wonka Should Have Ended.

I’ve been thinking about Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory today and came across this. It’s pretty awesome.

    Sinizen Tour Log 2/5/10

So today was the first official day of the tour, but let me back track a little so you can fully understand. The week before the tour Laura and I were frantically trying to pack up, organize and move out of our apartment in Huntington Beach, and move everything we owned into a section of Kevin’s garage. All day we were trying to get everything to fit in the garage, take out everything we need for a month on the road, and find room to squeeze Laura’s car in there as well.

Kevin and Mike left to go pick of the trailer which we had dropped off at House Of Stickers after our week long tour in January, and they were going to wrap it with their logo and our website before we hit the road again. Apparently when Kevin and Mike got there it wasn’t done and they had to help them put all the stickers on the trailer.

Finally they got back to Kevin’s where we had to now pack up the trailer with gear and personal supplies, and get that pile out of the Garage and Laura’s car in.

    Trailer packed.

    Garage empty.

Laura’s car sticks out a couple inches and we can’t close and lock the garage.

Quickly we re-arrange the garage, fit the car in and headed out to pick up Jorge and get on the road.

By this time its pouring, and we were getting close to rush hour.We got stuck in traffic FOREVER because of the rain. Everyone was driving EXTRA slow causing us to get caught in LA rush hour traffic. We were way behind schedule by the time we actually got moving at a steady pace on our way to Kingman, AZ.

It was getting late and we were getting worried we wouldn’t get to the show on time. We called the promoter and told him we had gotten stuck in traffic and were late but on our way. Then we remembered that its an hour later in AZ then CA, so we cut our losses and decided to head to the next town which was Vegas.

Kevin used his iPhone to find a road that would be a faster way to Vegas from wherever we were in AZ. It was a shitty old highway with nothing on it, and we were running low on gas. We are driving on E and it felt like we were driving into this….

We didn’t end up getting butchered or run out of gas and made it to the Golden Nugget We parked the van and went and walked around the old vegas strip. Had a few drinks. Explored some, then the band went to their hotel room and Kevin was jumping around the room, bouncing on the beds and crashing on the floor. No one else really wanted to explore anymore so me and Laura went out by ourselves. oh and we were sleeping in the van that night because we couldn’t sneak Loki, our part pitbull, part dachshund puppy in the room.

We finally passed out in the van around 4AM and were awoken super early, after they had checked out of the room so we had to find somewhere to clean up and go to the bathroom.

    …more to come….
